The Division 2: take a look in detail at the new True Patriot gear set

The True Patriot gear set is one of the first new gear sets in the game, and we’re taking a closer look at it.

Gear sets are back in The Division sequel and Arekkz Gaming‘s Taylor is here to give us a closer look (via GameSpot) and explain how they’ll work.

In addition to the first game’s gear pieces and gear sets, The Division 2 introduces brand sets. Gear sets require players to equip a specific number of pieces in order to get the bonuses, while brand sets are a lot more flexible, letting you mix and match them. True Patriot is a gear set that comes with red, white, and blue debuffs. The Full Flag debuff will be applied when you have the entire set equipped.

Ubisoft just wrapped up The Division 2 open beta over the weekend and held an additional PC-only technical test a couple of weeks ago.

The title’s clan system is another new addition which you can read up on before its release on March 15, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
