Japan: SEGA Has Filed A Trademark For Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

In 2006, SEGA released Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz on the Nintendo Wii. 13 years later, it seems that the company is still interested in the game. It has been discovered SEGA filed a trademark for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz on May 21st, not very long after SEGA had filed a “Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball” trademark in the same month. It is unknown why, but there is speculation that SEGA is planning to release a Nintendo Switch port of the game. A tweet relaying the news is down below.
