German Late-Night Show Nails Cover Of Mario Kart 8 Title Theme

 Among Mario Kart 8‘s many strengths is its strong title theme. It’s part of Nintendo’s longstanding trend of creating outstanding orchestral earworms that deviate from the simple-but-catchy melodies that have defined much of its earlier history.

MK8’s theme is so good, in fact, that it inspired German late-night show Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld recently did their own rendition of the theme, and it’s absolutely delightful. You can watch the performance in the tweet below.
