Fortnite Season 6 Update PS4 Is Halloween Themed and Features Pets

This week’s Fortnite update is jam packed with information. Fortnite Season 6 is filled with Halloween vibes. There is a mysterious new enemy, a spooky map update, a new consumable item called Shadow Stones, and adorable pets you can wear on your back. This map update includes a Floating Island that emerged from Loot Lake, Corrupted Areas, Corn Fields, Haunted Castle, and more.

Here is a trailer introducing us to Fortnite Season 6.

Consuming Shadow Stones will apply “Shadow Form” to players for a brief period,, which grants temporary invisibility when stationary. As soon as you move, you become increasingly more visible and leave behind a shadow trail. To prevent this from being overpowered, you cannot use weapons in Shadow Form.

A few weapons were vaulted and the Grappler has been improved, allowing you to gain momentum when hitting a moving object. Charges have also been reduced from 15 to 10.

The storm will now be shrinking more often, but at a slower rate. All safe zone wait times have been reduced and shrink times have been increased.

PERFORMANCE

• Fixed a rare crash that occurred when taking focus off the game, such as “alt-tabbing”, and then bringing focus back into the game.
• Reduce hitching on Mac caused by graphics allocations.

MOBILE

• Shadow Stone icon appears in empty slots of inventory after the effect ends on mobile.
