Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey to get New Game+ mode this month

The New Game+ of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will allow you to revisit the game where certain aspects of your progress will affect the newly started game.

Ubisoft is coming up with a New Game+ mode for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. The launch of the upcoming mode was revealed on the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter page. While the tweet didn’t reveal the exact date of its release, it will certainly release before the end of February 2019.

Furthermore, the tweet didn’t reveal much of the information regarding how the game would play out after the New Game+ mode update. The New Game+ mode allows users to revisit the game where certain aspects of the finished game will affect the newly started game. If this New Game+ mode is anything on the lines of what Assassin’s Creed: Origins’s Game+ mode then carry over character progression, including player level, abilities, and gear can be expected. However, in a reply to a fan’s tweet on Feb 5, the Assassin’s Creed Twitter account indicated that further details of the New Game+ mode will be revealed by next week in February’s monthly update video and article.

That being said, Ubisoft has further plans of launching remastered versions of Assassin’s Creed III and Assassins’s Creed: Liberation HD on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 29. Both the titles will support 4K HDR on Xbox One X, PC, and PS4 Pro consoles. Interested players could buy the standalone collection, however, if you already own the season pass for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey then you can play them for free.
