‘Atari Flashback Classics’ can now be played on PlayStation Vita.

All the Atari Flashback Classics are now available on the soon-to-be-discontinued PS Vita.

Within a few days after the Atari Classic compilation was launched for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Atari has come up with another version that supports the PlayStation Vita.

The company has announced that the Classic hit games collection is now available on Sony’s soon-to-be-discontinued PS Vita. The Collection features some 150 classic hits from late 70’s and 80’s era which include a variety of titles from Atari 2600, Atari 5200, M-Network and arcade consoles.

The collection contains many of the popular fan favorite retro titles like Astroblast, Centipede, Asteroids, and Missile Commands among many others. Moreover, the games also come with some bonus content for the players and other online features like full support for trophies, online leaderboard ranking and multiplayer mode for some key titles. To top it all, games also come along with console manuals that show you how to play the games according to the specified touchscreen, digital or analog inputs.

The version for the PS Vita is similar to that of the Nintendo Switch which has over 150 titles to choose from unlike the fewer number options available in the PS4 and Xbox One versions. The collection doesn’t take up much space either using up just 400MB for 150 game titles.

If you have a PS Vita and retro games are your thing then the Atari Flashback Classics is definitely worth checking out. It does seem a bit unusual however, for Atari to come up with a game collection for the PS Vita, considering it will soon be discontinued.
