Need a new retro fix? The Neogeo library on Xbox One has expanded once more – this time with the addition of the rather delightful looking Zupapa!
I have to admit, I’ve never even heard of Zupapa! previous to it rocking up on the Xbox Store, but that’s not to say that it should be overlooked and if you’re one of the many out there who have been enjoying the masses of Neogeo titles to have been added to the Xbox library in recent months, then I dare say it is one to keep a little look at.
Available right now for £6.39, ACA Neogeo Zupapa! was first released by SNK back in 2001. Running as an action experience, you’ll need to help the young Zupapa and Zupipi head off on an adventure that ultimately sees them rescuing the Zooks.
Now, that’s a lot of Z’s right there but don’t let that get in the way of what could well be a decent little run through as the promise of unique stages, simple controls and the ability to play with a second player sees Zupapa! become pretty tempting.
Drop in all the usual Neogeo port additions that have been included on nearly all the previous titles to make the jump – global leaderboards and the amendment of game difficulty settings for instance – and that draw becomes ever greater.
If you agree, the Xbox Store will give up a download of ACA Neogeo Zupapa! for just £6.39. Go and pay it a visit.
ZUPAPA! is an action game released by SNK in 2001. Control the brave young Zupapa and Zupipi and rescue the Zooks, who have been kidnapped by a mysterious adversary! Run freely through the fun, unique stages using simple controls, and aim for the final stage. This game can also support 2P play. The “ACA NEOGEO” series has faithfully reproduced many classic NEOGEO masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games. *This title is based off the MVS (NEOGEO for arcades) version. There may be differences between this version and the versions for the home NEOGEO console and other home consoles.
